Cicaria shows promise against hair loss
We examined a new strain derived from the human microbiome, Cicaria, to see how it helps with hair loss. Through testing on individuals with hair loss and comparing them to a control group with normal scalps, we found that Cicaria produced key compounds like adenosine and biotin. Notably, hair follicles treated with these elements displayed longer lengths and maintained healthier root diameters. Furthermore, these treatments appeared to support the phases of hair growth, slowing the transition to hair loss. Thus, Cicaria shows potential as a treatment for hair loss.

Vitamin B5 precursor boosts hair growth
We explored the effects of Dexpanthenol, a vitamin B5 precursor, on hair follicle cells. Our findings showed that Dexpanthenol boosted cell viability and proliferation in human dermal papilla and outer root sheath cells. It reduced markers of cell aging and death while promoting factors that extend the hair growth phase.

However, our results indicate that while Dexpanthenol may have potential for stimulating hair growth through these mechanisms, further studies are necessary to establish its effectiveness in combating hair loss more broadly.

We explored the relationship between antiepileptic medications, specifically valproic acid and carbamazepine, and various serum levels in children.

Our findings indicated no significant changes in biotin or biotinidase enzyme levels between the medication groups and healthy controls. However, we noted lower zinc levels in both treatment groups, though still within normal limits.

Interestingly, three participants on valproic acid experienced hair loss. Remarkably, this issue resolved after a three-month regimen of biotin supplementation, suggesting a potential benefit of biotin for hair health.

Excellent! This complex has strengthened my hair and significantly reduced hair loss. My nails seem stronger, though they grow slowly. While my skin hasn’t changed much, I feel my health has stabilised, I’m less anxious, and I wake up more easily. My colleagues have seen a noticeable increase in my energy. I definitely recommend it!

Reduced hair loss

This complex of B vitamins, prescribed by my doctor, has been effective. A deficiency in B vitamins not only affects the nervous system but also leads to increased hair loss, brittle nails, and skin irritation. After taking these vitamins, my overall condition has improved significantly, so I can confidently say they are working.

Very good! It delivers what it promises. This complex is excellent; I had previously bought another but had issues with a rash due to the niacin—my face tingled and turned red. With this one, there were no adverse reactions. It has uplifted my mood, and others have noticed an improvement in my hair loss. I will definitely keep using it forever; excellent quality, I recommend it!

Topical solution shows promise in hair loss
We explored the effectiveness of a new topical formulation combining minoxidil, finasteride, biotin, and caffeine on male androgenetic alopecia, which is a common hair loss condition. Over six months, five participants applied the solution daily and attended regular evaluations.

By the end of the study, all patients showed noticeable improvements in hair thickness and overall appearance. While satisfaction levels varied, with some reporting neutral reactions at the three-month mark, most recognized benefits after six months. This suggests that the formulation could be a promising option for treating hair loss in men.

Vitamin B6 aids hair condition
We evaluated the effects of vitamin B6 and calcium pantothenate on hair loss in 46 women with diffuse alopecia. Over 4-5 months, participants received calcium pantothenate, while vitamin B6 was injected daily for 20-30 days, then again after six months.

Our findings highlighted that vitamin B6 significantly improved hair condition and reduced hair loss, especially in cases related to telogenic alopecia. However, calcium pantothenate did not demonstrate a notable positive effect in treating female hair loss.

We are taking these together to maximise our B vitamin intake while preventing hair loss. The product was well packaged and delivered, and seems effective in activating the necessary energy for exercise. It appears to be helping to strengthen my hair roots, possibly due to biotin's impact on hair loss.
